Learn to take Baby Steps

Taking the first step in any journey is always critical, if arrival must be a reality. With all the doubts in your mind, all you need is to put one leg forward. That little step of picking up your pen to write the name of the book you dream of publishing, is called baby step. Everyone on earth has taken baby steps as a child, if not; you would not be walking and running by now. This principle also apply on your journey to financial freedom, sound health, a great relationship etc. The fact is this; at some point in the journey you must take baby steps.

Born premature 4 1/2 pound, she was always sickly. As a toddler she contracts scarlet fever and had double pneumonia but it is polio that cripples her left leg and foot. Yet she kept dreaming of running "Momma I just wanna feel the wind against my face when I run." Doctors confirm her prognosis poor and the was no money or time on her momma's side to treat her at the hospital considering the distance and the nature of her work.

Mama began to do her little part, I mean baby steps of massaging her crippled little girl's leg. For the first year there was no change at all. Suddenly little Wilma Rudolph began to also take baby steps by getting up and standing in one place in the backyard for hours and shoots basketball at a hop. These baby steps gave birth to her walking into church at age eight to the amazement of the congregation. In 1960 she stands tall and straight in her place in Olympics at the coliseum in Rome. And when all said and done Wilma Rudolph broke the tape of the 100, 200 and 400 meters races.

She becomes the first American woman in history to win three Olympic gold medals. Just take that step and someday soon your dream will come true. Listen! if Wilma Rudolph did not venture in the midst of doubts and fear we would not be talking about her. Just put one foot forward even in the midst of fear, that's all am asking. Cheers.
